Cheryl Burgess

Cheryl "Cherrie" Dee Burgess, 51, of Hubert, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, August 13, 2009.
Services will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday at Glad Tidings Church with Pastor Maurice Phelps officiating. Interment will follow in Amariah Garner Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Johnnie Burgess; father, Vernon Smith of Hubert; sons, Mark Burgess and wife Hollie of Kansas, Josh Burgess and wife Gina of Hubert and Justin Smith of Hubert; daughter, Keisha Burgess of Hubert; sisters, Terry Glass and husband Jeff of Asheboro, Angela Smith of Swansboro, Donna Foster of Havelock and Tonya Phelps and husband Daryle of Newport; grandchildren, Jared, Brianna, Joslyn and Brandon and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Gail Smith.
She leaves behind many special friends and patients, whom she loved dearly.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City and other times at the home, 155 Waterfront Rd., Hubert, NC.
