Charles Garner, Jr.
March 6, 1939 — June 10, 2010
Charles T. Garner, Jr., 71, of Newport, died Wednesday, June 10, 2010, at Carteret General Hospital.
Mr. Garner was a veteran and served in the US Air Force.
Services will be held 10:00 am Wednesday at St. James United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park.
He is survived by his sons, Aaron Garner o CA and Michael Spencer of MN; daughters, Kimberly LaCombe of OK and JoAnne Marcum of CA; brothers, Ray Garner of Newport and Alvin Garner and wife, Omelia of Chapel Hill and sister-in-law, Mary Jane Garner.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Harley Garner.
