Charles Engleberger
September 27, 1942 — February 3, 2017
Charles Engelberger, 74, Indian Beach, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2017 at home.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, February 6, 2017 at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City with Rev. Jim Mercer officiating.
Charles served his county in the Navy and was a member of the United States Submarine Veterans. He also was a member of the VFW, the American Legion, The Eagles Club, The Carteret County Democrat Party and the Elks Club.
Charles is survived by his wife of 21 years, Victoria Little; daughter, Laura Sun Engelberger; son, Darren Charles Engelberger; grandchildren, Zadie Engelberger, Austin Sun, and Kelsey Little; brothers, Donald Engelberger and wife Monoko Doan; sister, Carol Tribble and husband Barry; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his stepsons, William K. Little and Robert A. Little; and grandson, Brandon Sun.
