Charles Richard Davis

Charles Richard Davis, 91, formerly of Harkers Island, passed away Friday, October 20, 2023, at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, Virginia.

A graveside service to honor his life will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, October 28th at Polly Ann Davis Cemetery in Harkers Island, officiated by Joel Hancock.  

Charles was born on December 14, 1931, in Harkers Island, NC, to the late Earl and Lillian Davis.

Those remaining to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 70 years, Marilyn Davis of the home; son, Gregory Davis of Burke, Virginia; daughters, Charlynn Sholtis of North Carolina and Angela McKee (Bob) of West Virginia; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his son, Barry Allan Davis.
