Charles T. Casserly, 50, of Newport, died Thursday, January 7, 2010, at Carteret General Hospital.
Mr. Casserly was a veteran and served 13 years in the US Army.
Services will be held 11:00 am Friday at St. Egbert's Catholic Church with Father Doug Smiley officiating. Interment will be 2:00 pm Friday in Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Casserly; his parents, Charles T. Casserly, Sr. and Alice of FL; sons, Charles T. Casserly, III of Newport and Jaco L. Casserly of the home; daughter, Tashauna M. Ferguson and husband Glenn of Goldsboro; brother, James Casserly of CA; sister, Helen Bennett of NJ and two grandchildren, Lee Ferguson and Landon Ferguson, both of Goldsbsoro.
The family will receive friends prior to the service, 10-15 - 10:45 am Friday at the church.
