Celia A. Ferraris Dumke, 63, passed away peacefully at her home on August 25, 2023, in Morehead City, North Carolina.

Celia was born on August 28, 1959, to Earl and Rita Ferraris in Denville, New Jersey. The families are deeply saddened by their loss. Celia had a love for family, friends and life. She loved her pets, adored her horses, was a world traveler and relocated numerous times throughout her life. Originally from New Jersey, then California to Florida, North Carolina, and numerous states in between. She and her husband Charlie, lived on a small horse farm in eastern Tennessee where they raised two sons.

Celia was preceded in death by her father Earl Ferraris and older sister Patty O'Neill.

Those left with broken hearts are husband, Charlie; sons, Alec Dumke and Evan Dumke; grandson, Hank; mother, Rita Ferraris; brother, Mike and Kathy Ferraris and their children, Christopher, Matthew, and Patrick; brother, Steven Ferraris and his children, Trent and Kristin; sister, Clare and Barry Kotteles and their children, Brittney, Paige, and Zachary; sister, Mary and Mark Hand and their daughter, Holly; sister, Faith and Charles Oberman and their children, Olivia, Georgia and Charles; brother-in-law, David O’Neill; brother-in-law, Carver and Allison Dumke and their children, Jonathan and Kendra; sister-in-law, Elizabeth and Mark McKee and their children, Billy, Jeffrey and Sara; and sister-in-law, Sara and Tim Nero and their children, Brian, Ashley and Megan. Celia also had a love for her two dogs, Indy and Bucky.

Celia was an incredible chef, social planner, and volunteer. She was also an excellent mother and wife as well as a school teacher. She was always fun loving and lived life like someone left the gate open, which Charlie did on several occasions!

Private services were held on October 7th, 2023, in Rockaway, New Jersey.
