Celeste Eleanor Bell, 89, of Morehead City, North Carolina, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2026, at Pruitt Health – Crystal Coast.

Celeste was born on September 19, 1936, in Staten Island, New York, to the late John and Stella Camarca.

Celeste had a deep love for her family and found her greatest joy in the time spent together. She also loved to dance and never missed a chance to enjoy good food, bringing warmth and laughter to every gathering.

Those remaining to cherish her memory are her sons, Andy Bell and wife Jeanne of Williamsburg, VA, and David Bell of North Augusta, SC; daughter, Jean Marie Bell of North Augusta, SC; and her sisters, Marie Jachowski of Millsboro, DE and JoAnne Koutras of Staten Island, NY. Celeste’s grandchildren include Jessica Bell Parton of Morehead City, NC, Shannon Wingrove of Jacksonville, NC, Kathryn Howard of Suffolk, VA, Allison Pradhanang of Williamsburg, VA, Erin Curry of North Augusta, SC, Rachael Saufferer of Austin, TX, and Ryan Bell of Dallas, TX. Celeste also has twelve great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Celeste was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond Bell; her brother, Joseph Camarca; and her grandson, Christopher Bell.
