Cecelia Taylor, 79, of Morehead City, North Carolina, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Carteret Landing.

A memorial service to honor Cecelia's life will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 11th at Munden Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Jay Bush.

Cecelia was born on October 13, 1946, in Richmond, Virginia, to the late Cecil and Helen Crawford. She was a beautiful Christian woman whose faith guided her life and the way she treated those around her. Cecelia dedicated many years of her life working as a radiologic technician, caring for others with quiet compassion and a steady, gentle presence.

In her younger years, she enjoyed playing sports and staying active, and she carried that same vibrant spirit throughout her life. She loved to dance, often finding joy in the music and the moment, and she found peace and fulfillment in tending to her garden, where her nurturing nature truly shined.

Those remaining to cherish her memory are her son, Stephen Taylor Jr. of Morehead City, NC; sister, Brenda Hutton of the Outer Banks, NC; brother, Dennis Crawford of Roanoke Rapids, NC; grandchildren, Alyssa Heath, Kyle Hall, Farrah Cale, and Shore Taylor; and great grandchildren, Penelope, Charlotte, Genevieve, Daisy, and Angel.

In addition to her parents, Cecelia was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Hall.
