Carol Ketner, 59, of Newport, died Tuesday, November 2, 2010, at Carteret General Hospital.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
She is survived by her husband, David Ketner of the home; daughters, Cathy Elizabeth Hock of Durham, NC, and Amy Joy McGowan of Raleigh, NC; step-daughter, Shannon Ketner of Henderson, NC; sisters, Cheryl Williamson Harris of Henderson, NC, and Cindy Williamson Harris of Kittrell, NC; and eight grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, NC 27834.
