Brink was born on January 21, 1943, in Morehead City, NC, to the late Headen and Rosa Willis. From a young age he knew the value of hard work and dedication. Brink worked as a commercial fisherman for the majority of his life, including 25 years at A.B. Seafood Market where he made lifelong friends.
In his free time, Brink enjoyed hanging out with his friends at Save-A-Stop and frequently visited his favorite local restaurants, Crab Shack and El’s. His love for fishing ran deep, and whenever he had the opportunity, he would cast a line. Brink also had a passion for duck hunting and was a devoted baseball fan, sharing his zeal and knowledge by coaching Little League teams throughout the years.
The Christmas holidays held a special place in Brink’s heart. He thoroughly enjoyed selecting thoughtful gifts for his loved ones and always embraced the festive spirit of the season.
Above all, Brink was a devoted family man who loved his family fiercely. His selflessness and unwavering support made him a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.
