Brenda Osborne Hawthorn, 67, of Newport, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Vidant Medical Center.
There will be a gathering of friends and family, Sunday, October 8, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at the Munden Funeral Home Chapel.
She is survived by her faithful companion, Scooter; daughter, Nichole Hazard and husband, Ethan of Smyrna; son, Jimmy Williams and wife, Leigh Ann of Huntersville, NC; sister, Glenda Anthony and husband, Tommy of Newport; brother, Tom Jordan of Newport; grandchildren, Trey Williams, Drew Hazard, Logan Hazard, Reagan Williams, Kendall Williams, Grayson Williams; and the light of her life, Stewart White.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Sybil Osborne; sister, Linda Scott; brother, Michael Osborne.
