Brenda Anita Hallmark,72, of Morehead City, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, went to be with the Lord, Friday, December 16, 2016 at Carteret Health Care.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, December 19, 2016 at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City with Pastor John Spier officiating. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park.
Born on March 24, 1944, she was a long-time resident of Morehead City.
Brenda is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, Glenn Hallmark; daughters, Faye Teague and husband Richard and Tammy Sutphin and husband Wray; son, Christopher Husted; eight grandchildren, Bobbie Wilson, Becky Bowers, Mandy Bowers, Richie Teague, Paige Husted, Christopher Husted, Aaron Grosskopf, and Taylor Rathbone; and six great grandchildren, Alexis Wilson, Madison Wilson, Aiden Teague, Ian Teague, Mason Husted, and Liam Husted.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Annie Mae Baysden; and sister, Edna Lewis.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Crystal Coast Hospice House, PO Box 640, Newport, NC 28570.
The family will welcome friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Munden Funeral Home.
