Bonnie Sue Springle, 68, of Morehead City, North Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Carteret Health Care.

A funeral service to honor Bonnie’s life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 27th at Munden Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Ray Conner. Interment will follow at Carteret Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends the evening prior from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Friday, June 26th at Munden Funeral Home. Born on March 14, 1958, in Morehead City, NC, Bonnie was the daughter of the late Frank and Nancy Springle.

Bonnie had a special gift for caring for others, which was evident in her career in childcare. She touched the lives of countless children and families through her patience, kindness, and nurturing spirit. Known for her generous heart, Bonnie never met a stranger. She loved people unconditionally, offering compassion and acceptance, without judgment, to everyone she encountered.

A lifelong resident of the Crystal Coast, Bonnie appreciated the beauty of the area and especially loved spending time at the beach. She loved getting lost in a good book and always enjoyed listening to Christian music, which brought great encouragement throughout her life.

Above all, Bonnie was a devoted Christian woman whose faith guided her daily life. She loved the Lord wholeheartedly and was a faithful member of Life Point Church in Newport. Her gentle spirit, unwavering faith, and genuine love for her family and others will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those remaining to cherish her memory are her daughter, Amanda Hope Pruitt (Gerald Gaskill) of Morehead City, NC; son, Joshua Pruitt of Stella, NC; sister, Sylvia Carpenter of Newport, NC; brother, Frank Springle Jr. (Jenne) of Wilmington, NC; grandchildren, Hailey Lauren Pruitt, Breonna Lynn Pruitt, Isabella Pelachick, Emily Reeger, Shania Tilley, Liz Tilley, and Sandy Tilley; 2 great-grandchildren; 5 nieces; and 2 nephews.

In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her daughter, Ashley Marie Lilly and sisters, Tanis Smith and Phyllis Paridisio.
