Blanca Davila Brown, 69, of Cape Carteret, North Carolina, passed away at her home on Monday, June 2, 2025.
Born on May 29, 1956, in Monterrey, Mexico, Blanca was one of seven children born to the late Federico and Guadalupe Davila. Blanca completed her high school education at Monterrey Nuevo Leon Estado Unidos Mexicanos.
Blanca moved to the United States nearly 20 years ago, where she began a new chapter in her life. It was in Kinston that she met her beloved husband, Greg, with whom she created numerous joyful memories.
A devout Catholic woman, Blanca loved the Lord and attended St. Mildred’s Catholic Church. She had a passion for cooking and loved preparing delicious meals for her family and friends. In her spare time, she enjoyed working in her garden, always happy with the fruit of her labor.
Those remaining to cherish her memory are her husband, Greg Brown; son, Alexandro Castillo of Monterrey, Mexico; sisters, Dolores Garza of Monterrey, Mexico, Martha Leticia Davila of Bedford, IN, Guadalupe Davila of Grifton, NC, and Maria Angela Davila of Monterrey, Mexico; brothers, Ricardo Davila of Monterrey, Mexico and Reynaldo Davila of Phoenix, AZ; and grandchildren, Alexandro Castillo, Oswaldo Castillo, Johan Castillo, and Alexandra Castillo all of Monterrey, Mexico.
