Billy Lee Calisterio Jr.

Billy Lee Calisterio Jr., 25, of Greenville, North Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.

A memorial service to honor Billy's life will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 14th at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City.

Born on August 4, 1998, Billy was born in raised in Newport, NC, and was a graduate of West Carteret High School.

Billy was a vibrant young man with numerous talents and a wide variety of interests. He loved music, his favorite band being Amity Affliction. He taught himself guitar which was one of his many hobbies. Billy had a passion for motorcycles and had a special love for classic cars, which was influenced by his grandfather.

Billy was never shy to strike up a conversation, he never met a stranger and his outgoing and affectionate personality welcomed everyone. Billy's consistent and amazing smile would brighten your day.

Those remaining to cherish his memory are his mother, Kristal Smith-Calisterio and Kristofer Lee of Havelock; father, Billy Calisterio Sr. and LaVonne Whited Lampasona of Cedar Point; brother, Dylan Calisterio of Cedar Point; maternal grandmother, Mary Smith of Newport; maternal aunt, Ann Buganski; maternal uncle, John Buganski; paternal aunt, Jamie Calisterio-McCullough and husband Shawn McCullough; paternal uncles, Larry Calisterio and Isidro Calisterio Jr.; and many loving cousins.

In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Smitty; paternal grandparents, Isidro Calisterio Sr. "Pops" and Sunny Lea Calisterio.
