Betty Sue Johnson

Betty Sue Johnson, 83, of Morehead City, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, December 20, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.

A funeral service to honor Betty Sue’s life will be held at 2:00p.m., Tuesday, December 23rd at Munden Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Wesley Holmes. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Betty Sue was born on June 14, 1942, in High Point, NC, to the late James and Dillian Dilldine.

Those remaining to cherish her memory are her devoted husband of 66 years, Kenneth Johnson; daughters, Wrenn Johnson and Susan Johnson of Morehead City, NC; grandson, Chandler Willis (Kamile); and great-grandchildren, Pierce Willis, Emmaline Willis, and Juliette Willis numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

In addition to her parents, Betty Sue was preceded in death by her sisters, Louise Owens and Dorothy Johnson, and brothers, David Dilldine, Johnny Raymond Dilldine, Billy J. Dilldine, Douglas Dilldine. As an expression of sympathy, flowers are welcome.
