Benny Earl Burney, Sr., 67, of Morehead City, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017 at his home.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Benny is survived by his loving wife, Debbie S. Burney; daughters, Christy Yost of Newport, Hope Howard of Lenexa, KS, and Michelle Obarr of Byron, GA; brothers, James Burney of Hubert, Billy Burney of Dexter, GA; sisters, Emma Jean Coleman of Dublin, GA, and Sandy Coleman of Dublin, GA; grandchildren, Cassie Obarr, Sophie Novonglosky, and Sammy Novonglosky.
Benny is preceded in death by his parents, John F. Burney and Flora Mae Adkins Burney; sisters, Victoria Wall and Geraldine Warren.
