Beatrice B. Shrum, 103, of Morehead City, formerly of Fort Lauderdale, FL, passed away Monday, October 1, 2018 at Cherry Point Bay Nursing Home.
Her funeral service will be held at Jagers and Sons Funeral Home in Athens, Ohio. Interment will be held Greenlawn Memory Gardens in Athens, Ohio.
She was a member of Stewartsville Baptist Church. She loved gardening, especially violets and pansies. She was a loving, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.
She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn J. York of Anderson, IN and Sandra Corman and husband Stephen of Morehead City; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Raymond Shrum.
