Barbara Sutherland

Barbara White Sutherland, 75, of New Bern, formerly of Morehead City, died Monday, August 10, 2009, at her residence in New Bern.
Mrs. Sutherland had worked in sales with Island Beach and Racquet Club and with several other real estate companies locally and in Chapel Hill as well as construction and development of residential housing.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 am Saturday in Munden Funeral Home Chapel.
She is survived by her husband, Marshall Sutherland; two daughters, Winnie Sutherland of Melbourne, FL and Carolyn Hoveland, of New Bern; son, Marc Sutherland of Chapel Hill; sister, Judith Cannon of Atlanta, GA; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Evelyn White, a brother, Ted White, a sister, Gwen Roberson and her grandfather, Rev. William "Bill" Anderson of Morehead City.
The family will receive friends following the service at Munden Funeral Home.
