Audrey Eleanor Loftin
Fulcher
September 1, 1929 – April 3, 2026
Audrey Eleanor Loftin Fulcher, 96, of Morehead City, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 3, 2026, at the Crystal Coast Hospice House.
A funeral service to honor Audrey’s life will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 12th at Munden Funeral Home, officiated by John Smith. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Audrey will be laid to rest privately at Bayview Cemetery.
Audrey was born on September 1, 1929, in Trenton, NC, to the late Clyde and Susan Loftin. She was a faithful and cherished member of Franklin Memorial Methodist Church for over 50 years. Her love for her church family was shown in all she did, especially through her joyful participation in the choir and her strong, unwavering faith. She was truly a godly woman, living out her beliefs both inside and outside the church.
Audrey had a heart for serving others, which shined brightly through her love of cooking and baking. She found an abundance of joy in feeding people and making sure no one ever left her home hungry. Whether preparing meals for loved ones or creating delicious desserts while working at Captain Bill’s, she shared her gifts generously. Audrey treasured time spent in her yard, planting and gardening. She delighted in life’s special moments- welcoming visitors into her home, celebrating the holidays, and gathering her family together.
The Fourth of July was one of her favorite traditions, filled with laughter, love, and homemade ice cream shared among those she cherished most. Audrey enjoyed crafts, family games, and making memories on cruises and trips to Florida. She was married to the love of her life Tommie for over 39 years, a union she cherished. Her family was her greatest blessing, and she poured her heart into each and every one of them. May her love, faith, and kindness live on in all who knew her.
Those remaining to cherish her memory are her beloved children, Larry Lewis (Pat), Clyde Lewis, Bonnie Narron (John), Pam Brooks, and Barbie Smith (John); grandchildren, Michael Tomcany (Brandy), Mark Tomcany (Christina), Larry T. Lewis (Stephanie), Leigh Ann Gray (Bryan), Katie Spruill (JR), Christopher Spruill, Amanda Starling (Van), Andrea Winters, Jason Barbour (Edye), Trey Lawrence (Sarah), Meredith Chisenhall (Lonnie), Trent Brooks (Kristen), Morgan Whaley (Shane), Lauren Beil (Josh), Lathan Smith (Kearstyn), Amanda Jenkins, and Justin Narron (Amy); great grandchildren, Sam, Harper, and Ona Tomcany, Emmy, Lila Kate, and Chloe Lewis, Landon and Lane Gray, Lilly, Illa, and Allie Starling, Julianne, Hailey, and Timmy Winters, Cutter, Cannon, and Loftin Chisenhall, Brooklynne and Blythe Whaley, Jack and Claire Beil, Ryan and Cameron Pritchett, Emme McKelvey, Bella Jenkins, and Mya, Maggie, Molly, and Oliver Narron.
