Eddie Anderson II, 61, of New Bern, North Carolina, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at the Crystal Coast Hospice House.
A celebration of Eddie's life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Munden Funeral Home in Havelock, officiated by Pastor Scott Coghill. The family will receive friends following the service.
Eddie was born on January 2, 1964, in Baker City, Oregon, to the late Arthur and Mary Anderson. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, carrying out the values of honor and dedication throughout his life. A resident of New Bern, he was an active member of New Life Christian Fellowship Church in Havelock, where he found his spiritual strength.
Eddie was an active part of the Scottish Society, embracing his heritage with joy and enthusiasm. He was a man of many talents and hobbies, a true outdoorsman who loved camping, hunting, and riding his motorcycle on the open road. Eddie had a deep appreciation for craftmanship, especially through leatherwork and gunsmithing, which he pursued with skill.
Eddie was a devoted husband to his beloved wife of 10 years, Leigh, and a loving father. His kindness, quiet strength, and support left an indelible mark on the many lives he touched.
Those left to treasure his memory are his loving wife, Leigh of the home; daughter, Danielle Anderson of Vanceboro, NC; sisters, Gayle Hammons (Mike) of Indiana and Debbie Hager-Bowers (Dale) of Indiana; brothers, Rick Anderson (Lisa) of Indianapolis, IN and Wade Anderson of Portugal; and his special dogs, Lester, Bear, and Ginger.
In addition to his parents, Eddie was preceded in death by his sister, Jonell Choate.
