Ann-Marie Lewis McKamey, 45, of Broad Creek passed away Tuesday, December 08, 2015 at Carteret Health Care.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Broad Creek Church of God with Pastor Robbie Strickland officiating.
Ann-Marie taught at Broad Creek Middle School for 13 years, from 1992-2004 and was the 1998-99 Teacher of the Year, at Broad Creek Middle School. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and friend to all.
She is survived by her, husband, Thomas McKamey of the home; one son, Andrew McKamey of the home; parents, James and Patricia Lewis; sister, Kathy Brennan and husband Patrick of Morehead City, NC; two nephews, Sean Brennan and Joey Brennan; three nieces, Genna Gorman, Alexis Bucior and Eleyna McKamey; one great niece, Emma McKamey.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lupus Foundation of America, 2000 L Street, NW Suite 410 Washington, DC 20036 or Bogue Sound School System, 3323 NC 24 Newport, NC 28570.
The family will receive friends 6:00- 8:00pm Friday, December 11, 2015 at the church.
