Angela Williams Davis

Angela Williams Davis, 61, of Morehead City, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at Carteret Health Care.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Angela was born on May 17, 1961, in Morehead City, North Carolina, to the late John and Arnette Williams. From a young age her artistic eye was outstanding. It was her creative soul that allowed her to flourish in her life’s work as an artist and jewelry maker. Angela’s superior skill and amazing ability produced numerous beautiful pieces of art during her blessed lifetime.

Angela enjoyed her garden and the bountiful harvest it produced. She enjoyed canning and cooking delicious meals for her family. Being from the coast was a perfect fit for her love of boating, fishing and clamming. Angela’s happy place was being at the beach, going to the waterfront in Morehead City and Beaufort, along with special trips to Cape Lookout which was her favorite place since childhood.

Those remaining to cherish her memory include her longtime companion, Gene Lewis; devoted daughters, Liberty Willis and husband Jonathan Willis Jr. of Morehead City, NC and Carol Davis of Los Angeles, CA; sister, Shirley Anderson of Morehead City; brother, John Williams Jr. and wife Arlinda of Black Mountain, NC; grandchildren, James “Kenneth” Kyle, Trysten Willis and Jewelianna Kyle; and nieces and nephews, Michael Anderson, Allison Johnson and husband Stan and Daniel Wiggs.
