Andy Clarence Gillikin, 62, of Beaufort, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Otway Christian Church with Rev. Jack Mumford, Rev. Clint Nelson and Rev. Paul Gillikin officiating.
Andy attended Mount Olive College and began a career in diesel mechanics which remained his passion for the rest of his life. He managed the Otway Hardware Store for 15 years, and he was a loving father and doting grandfather.
He is survived by son, Josh Gillikin; daughter, Andrea Gillikin; mother, Shirley Shafer; brother, Patrick Gillikin all of Otway; sister, Paula Piner and husband Ivey of Tusk; grandchild, Bladen Davis; three nieces, Charlotte Lawrence, Lindsey Kidd, and Kelsey Brewer; and nephew, Grant Gillikin.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wheeler Gillikin; step-father, Jack Shafer; and his beloved dog Hannah.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday at Otway Christian Church.
