Amy Howell, 82, of Newport, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2018, at Carteret Health Care.
Services for Amy will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, July 22, 2018, at the First Freewill Baptist Church in Morehead City, with the Rev. Jerry Johnson officiating.
Amy is survived by her daughter, Ronda H. Winstead of Newport; son, Rodney A. Hawkins of Morehead City; and granddaughter, Kristal L. Hawkins.
Amy was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Thelma Smith; husband, Neil B. Howell; and granddaughter Aimee L. Winstead.
