Allen Hutson

Allen Hutson, 75, of Mill Creek, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m., on Tuesday, August 5th at the home of Julie Hutson, 480 Mill Creek Road, in Newport. A graveside service, with military honors, will be held at 10 a.m. on August 7th at Coastal Carolina Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville.

Allen was born on April 17, 1950, in Darlington, South Carolina, to the late Frealond Lester Hutston and Elizabeth Hutson. He honorably served in the U.S. Army. He loved riding with the motorcycle crowd, fishing, camping, taking trips in his RV, and drag racing. He loved the mountains, and he loved traveling along the East Coast, especially visiting his cousin in Darlington, SC. He loved visiting the nursing homes in Jacksonville to play electric guitar and sing for the residents. Allen will be missed.

Those remaining to cherish his memory are his wife, Julie Hutson; sons, Ajay Hutson, Stephen Woodrow Hutson, and Chasen Hunter; step-daughter, Teresa Felica; step-son, Ken Rivera; sister, Gladys Brown; grandchildren, Caleba Fisher, Josalynne Hutson, and Kaylee Hutson; and step-grandchildren, Daeshaun Howard, Parish Felica, Alex Felica, Ken Rivera, Alexa Rivera, Ken Rivera, Jr., Adren Guther, Buster, Billy Joe, Ivory Hutson, Conner Hutson, and Belea Hutson.
