Alice Melton Moore

Alice Melton Moore, 77, of Morehead City, NC, peacefully passed away on November 30, 2024, at Carteret Health Care Hospital. 

Born on June 1, 1947, in Enfield, NC, she was the beloved daughter of Robert and Neaner Mae Melton.

Alice is survived by her devoted husband, Steven Moore, and her cherished daughter, Stephanie. A woman of deep compassion and unwavering love, Alice found her greatest joy in the company of her family. She treasured the moments when her brothers and sisters gathered together, creating lasting memories during family reunions and holidays that were filled with laughter and love.

Alice’s warmth and kindness extended beyond her immediate family, as she touched the lives of everyone she met. She was a loving wife, a nurturing mother, and a loyal friend who embodied grace and generosity. Her sweet spirit will be deeply missed, but the impact she had on those around her will endure.

There are truly not enough words to capture what Alice embodied. Her legacy of love, compassion, and family bonds will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her. In this time of sorrow, we take comfort in the beautiful memories we shared and the love that will remain in our hearts.
