Al S. Garrish , 51, of Jacksonville, died Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at his residence.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday at Ocracoke Assembly of God Church officiated by Rev. Ivey Belch. Interment will follow a the Garrish Family Cemetery on Ocracoke Island.
He is survived by his mother, Rita Corbin of Morehead City;also several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday at Munden Funeral Home and 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Saturday prior to the service at the church.
