Agatha Lynn Moore

Agatha Lynn Moore, 61, of Stacy, North Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at Pruitt Health - Neuse in New Bern.

Her memorial service will be held at 6 p.m., Wednesday, July 26th at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City. The family will receive friends one hour prior. She will be laid to rest privately at Stacy Community Cemetery.

Agatha was born on November 21, 1961, in Sea Level, North Carolina, to the late Robert and Georgia Arthur.

Known for being a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan, Agatha had an unwavering support of her favorite team and rarely missed watching a game. She also enjoyed watching wrestling, always ready for action-packed entertainment. Her other interests included puzzle books, exercising her mind, and having fun while solving challenging problems. She spent hours playing cards and perfecting her strategy.

Of course, more than anything Agatha loved spending time with her family, especially her grandbabies. Her family bonds were incredibly special and provided joy and support in her life.

Those remaining to cherish her memory are her sons, Ricky Allen Moore Jr. and John Moore and fiancé Erin, all of Newport, NC; sister, Daphne Kay Pugh and husband Mervin of Odessa, TX; brother, Johnny Dean Arthur and wife Clarice of Stacy; and grandchildren, Levi Moore, Lily Moore, and Emily Moore; along with numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial cards for the family are welcome and may be made to Munden Funeral Home, 2112 Arendell St., Morehead City, NC 28557.
